Idea stolen from the Mayo Clinic.  Along with about 90% of all my other diet ideas.  But anyways, find a pair of pants that are tight but you’re still able to zip up.  Got it?  Alright, now: put them on.  Assess the situation.  Repeat every Friday.

It’s a great way to track progress.  Are they loose?  If they are, it’ll give you motivation to keep up the good work over the weekend.  And if they’re tight: again, give you motivation, but in the “I need to kick it up a notch” sort of way.
